We are excited to announce that A-01 is co-launching Nicaragua’s first magazine on urban and architectural tendencies in Central America.
The project is directed by Ronald Carvajal and Adolfo Mejía; Oliver Schütte and Marije van Lidth de Jeude of A-01 have been invited as editorial directors. Further contributions are provided by Luis Arriola (graphic design), Josué Carlos Ortiz (photography), Aralia Alemán and Oscar Vega (corporate development), Roland Krebs and Claudia Silva (international collaboration), as well as Martha Silva, Blanca Solis, Daniela Torres, Sonia Perez and Wilber Gallo.
The goal of the magazine is to provide a critical look at the built environment, its shortcomings, strengths and potentials, and to give a platform for young talents in the region to communicate their work.
Besides the actual magazine, Estudio 505 will organize events, workshops and fares related to the topics of design, construction, rural and urban and development. Upcoming activities will be communicated via mail; you can subscribe to the newsletter via the website or stay tuned on Facebook.
